Des Green supported by his associates has 9 years' experience in providing risk and security consultancy services in both retained and shorter project based commitments within the NHS, other public and commercial organisations, charities as well as several high-end private clients. Support has also been provided to architects, designers, facilities management companies and commercial security providers.

The instructions have been varied and have included several capital builds, ‘target-hardening' of large-scale estates and responding to statutory requirements or best practice standards. Some clients have required support to reduce risks to their staff; others have sought to avoid disruption to major projects. All of the instructions have required a flexible approach whilst ensuring the best interests of the clients. The provision of a dependable service has been at the centre of all we do.

Des has a BSc in Risk and Security Management, is a member of the Security Institute and qualified NHS Security Management Specialist. His background includes service with the Royal Military Police and Port of Bristol Police and security management roles with Tesco Distribution, United Bristol Healthcare NHS Trust and a London based manned guarding company. Des is supported when necessary by associates who have similar backgrounds and qualifications including a chartered member of IOSH recognising the crossover between security and health and safety.
